Rosi’s aquarium gravel and shrimp sand
If you need gravel or sand for an aquarium, you will find what you need in Rosi’s range. Grit is available in different grain sizes and colours to enable you to customise your aquarium.
No matter the grain size you choose, all its aquarium gravel is lime-free natural gravel which is suitable for both freshwater and salt-water aquariums. The individual grains are naturally rounded thanks to the movements of Ice Age glaciers, making them safe even for fish that are bottom dwellers. Another advantage is the colour range in which the repeatedly washed gravel is available. Bright white brings out the colours of plants and exotic fish particularly well, while darker hues give your aquarium a warm, natural look.
Rosi’s shrimp sand is fine mineral sand with rounded edges, which is additionally coated with a special resin. The resin is neutral in drinking water and waterproof; the shrimp sand and gravel are lime-free, pH-neutral, CO2 and UV-resistant. Both can even promote plant growth in the aquarium and are, of course, non-toxic. Another advantage of the sand for nano-aquarists is that juvenile shrimp do no get stuck in it the way they would in gravel when looking for food. It is advisable to wash the sand thoroughly before adding it to an aquarium to remove any finer particles that may have come loose during transport.
