Unlike dry food, wet puppy food contains a lot of water, so that you don’t have to constantly monitor your dog’s fluid intake throughout the day, although a bowl of fresh drinking water should of course be available at all times. Wet food is juicier, smells more appetising and is often associated with greater acceptance than dry food, but it also spoils faster. Wet puppy food must be stored in the refrigerator after opening and should be used within a few days.
