Thank you for helping animals in need

Maxi Zoo are delighted to announce that through sales of our Together for pets charity tote bag, we were able to donate €6,565.64 to the Irish Blue Cross. Customers throughout Maxi Zoo stores purchased a Together for Pets Tote Bag, with proceeds from the sales going to the charity.

Commenting on the donation, Paul Halpin, Fundraising Campaigns Manager with The Irish Blue Cross said: “This money will help fund our frontline services, and pay for important equipment to carry out surgeries, and perform day to day procedures in our mobile clinics like ultrasounds, vaccinations and microchipping. While we receive some government funding, we could not continue to operate without public donations, and corporate partnerships with fantastic companies like Maxi Zoo. We are so grateful to them, and all their customers, for this donation that will be put to great use in keeping our services up and running.”
Enrico De Luca, Country Manager Maxi Zoo Ireland said: “The Irish Blue Cross is a fantastic and very worthy charity, that helps to ensure people in the greater Dublin area get the proper care they need for their pets, when they might not otherwise be able to afford it. The organisation also provides a vital service for injured horses across the country. At Maxi Zoo we are huge promoters of animal welfare and responsible animal ownership, so it made perfect sense for us to partner with The Irish Blue Cross for the 2024 Together for Pets campaign. We were also delighted to see so many of our customers purchase the tote bags, which both raised important funds for the charity, and sent out an important message of sustainability.“
THANK YOU
