Even though they look different, your dog shares its anatomy with the grey wolf, which means it was born a carnivore and is adapted to a diet high in meat, protein and fat. Acana Classic Red has been produced based on this biological fact and a nutritional analysis that reflects the natural diet of dogs. For your dog’s holistic diet, the food includes pasture-raised lamb, Angus beef and Yorkshire pork, delivered fresh and raw daily in “whole prey” portions. The proportion of meat is 50%, meat proteins 29%.

It’s also free from high-glycaemic grains and instead contains plenty of nutritious meat protein and vital omega-3 fatty acids to support health. It contains low-glycaemic oats to promote stable blood sugar levels and reduce fat storage. Unwanted carbohydrates with a total content of 30% were reduced.

Acana is made exclusively in NorthStar’s own Canadian kitchens, with fresh, regional ingredients sustainably sourced from Alberta farms approved for human consumption.
