Acana Wild Prairie provides plenty of fresh meat from free-range chicken & turkey, as well as fresh whole eggs from the farms surrounding the manufacturing facility in Alberta, Canada. Plus, wild-caught fish like fresh walleye and trout from Canada’s pristine lakes, and fruit and vegetables from British Columbia’s sunny Okanagan Valley.
Acana is made exclusively in NorthStar’s own Canadian kitchens, with fresh, sustainably sourced ingredients.

The feed has an unsurpassed variety of regional ingredients that are approved for human consumption. All ingredients are delivered fresh daily from regional Alberta farms. It offers a high proportion of meat (70%) and protein (35%), limited carbohydrates (25%) and is completely grain-free.

Even though they look different, your dog shares its anatomy with the grey wolf, which means it was born a carnivore and is adapted to a diet high in meat, protein and fat. Based on this biological fact and a nutritional analysis that reflects the natural diet of dogs, Acana has the most nutritious proteins and fats and reduces unwanted carbohydrates.
