Perfect support for plant roots: Soil for freshwater and seawater aquariums and terrariums.
Vital plant growth: Prevents seepage of detritus and other waste through fine granulation and dense stratification.
Ideal for fish, invertebrates and plants: No release of unwanted pollutants into the water. Fine, rounded granite sand is gentle on the sensitive barbels of bottom-dwelling fish.
No light reflections - full colour splendour of the plants and fish: Shy animals feel more comfortable and show their full natural colouring.

Contents: 1 bag of Sansibar Dark.
Unsuitable for floor-heating cable.

Use

Rinse the substrate under tap water to remove any abrasion caused by transportation. Apply substrate to promote plant growth on the fertile soil (JBL AquaBasis) (for strong plant growth approx. 6-8 cm).

The right amount of substrate: Length (cm) x width (cm) : 140 = kg substrate at 5 cm thickness.
