During this period of new discoveries at 6 to 12 months of age, a kitten's immune system needs extra support - especially if it has been neutered.

ROYAL CANIN Kitten Sterilised food contains a selected combination of proteins, vitamins, minerals and a patented antioxidant complex. This has been specially developed to support the health of young cats in their first year as they grow into strong, adult cats.
Neutered kittens tend to gain weight, mainly due to longer sleeping times and lower energy requirements. For this reason, ROYAL CANIN Kitten Sterilised food contains a lower fat content, which helps to support an appropriate ideal weight. At the same time, the balanced nutritional content of protein, calcium and phosphorus ensures healthy growth of the kitten. Poultry protein and plant fibres ensure an excellent taste and an optimal nutritional balance. This food also has a particularly high digestive tolerance thanks to highly digestible proteins and prebiotics. The texture has also been designed to be soft enough to make it easier for young cats to chew.
In addition, ROYAL CANIN Kitten Sterilised has been specially developed to promote urinary health in young cats. Please always remember to provide your cat with a bowl of fresh water.

Feeding recommendation
Single feeding
Royal Canin Kitten Sterilised is a single feeding product (no additional feeding necessary). Always provide your cat with fresh drinking water. When changing food, make sure to gradually replace the previous food with Royal Canin Kitten Sterilised (over approx. one week). This will ensure optimum tolerance and acceptance even during the changeover phase.

Mixed feeding
The following feeding recommendations should be adjusted accordingly in the ratio of wet and dry food for mixed feeding. It is important that your cat eats several small portions throughout the day and always has fresh water available. As dry and wet food have different digestion times, it is therefore advisable to offer both types of food at different times.
